Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Oshkosh is a city in Winnebago County, Wisconsin, United States, located where the Fox River enters Lake Winnebago from the west. The population was 66,083 at the 2010 census; it had a metropolitan area of 159,972 people. The city is located adjacent to and partially within the Town of Oshkosh.

Oshkosh was named for Menominee Chief Oshkosh. Although the fur trade brought the first European settlers to the area as early as 1818, it never became a major player in the fur trade. It was the establishment and growth of the lumber industry in the area that spurred development of Oshkosh. Oshkosh was incorporated as a city in 1853, although it had already been designated the county seat, and had a population of nearly 2,800.

The lumber industry became well established as businessmen took advantage of navigable waterways to provide access to both markets and northern pineries. The 1859 arrival of rail transportation expanded the ability to meet the demands of a rapidly-growing construction market.

NEW Hydraulics F-250 Truck with Stainless Steel Western MVP-3™ Plow and Striker™ SpreaderWHAT WE DO

NEW Hydraulics, Inc. (formerly Art’s Services) specializes in immediate replacement and repair service of hydraulic parts, including hoses, tubes, fittings, adapters, and couplings. We do our best to ensure our prices are lower and more competitive than online services, which take days to fulfill. We also make other types of hoses, tubing, battery cables, etc.

NEW Hydraulics is also a factory-direct dealer for WESTERN® snowplows and salt spreaders. We offer a comprehensive selection of new and used plows and parts. We are a full-service shop for your plow and spreader equipment, offering services such as complete refurbishment including disassembly, sand blasting, painting, reassembly, and repair/replacement of any worn components.

Art’s Services was a 31-year-old company started by Art Abraham. After spending some time specializing in mechanical car repair, Art saw that many older tractors and construction equipment manufacturers no longer offer hoses and tubes for their equipment. He settled his business on hose crimping and tube bending to keep this older yet reliable equipment making money for their owners. The business then expanded to include the sale of WESTERN® snowplows since many hose customers used plows as well.

In November of 2017, Art retired and passed the baton to Paul Konopa, and the company was renamed "NEW Hydraulics, Inc."  Paul brings his experience in mechanical engineering, quality control, aerospace, and DoD to further enhance the offerings of NEW Hydraulics.

Today, NEW Hydraulics focuses on the Art of Uptime™ for our customers by providing replacement hoses, tubes, and assemblies for a variety of applications, including construction, agriculture, production machines, fluid lines on cars, earth movers, etc. As a factory-direct WESTERN® snowplow dealership, we offer sales and services to keep our customers up and running so they can do the same for our community.
